I am so excited this place is right down the street from me... Really because it's such delicious food (and the bottle shop, we'll get to that later).

I came for brunch and was so pleasantly surprised. Upon first glance at the menu, I was worried there wouldn't be much that was gluten free for me, but the server checked and I was good to go with the frittata or tomato and burrata. I do LOVE that tomato dish normally, but knew I'd be hungry after an hour if I just ate that, so opted for the frittata and ordered a side of breakfast potatoes.

The frittata was so tasty and had this nice crispy top to it that I thoroughly enjoyed. The breakfast potatoes were good, but I didn't realize there was an aioli hidden on the side of the dish until over halfway through. Aioli is the best, so I'd love to see more added to the dish, as it was just a little dollop.

My only two critiques are the potatoes could have used just a tad more seasoning and maybe slightly crispier (with more aioli). The frittata was great. Now I realize I am a complete and total snob with tea, but they carry Lipton. For such a beautiful space, I'd say is elevated American fare, I'd offer a little more upscale tea... or why not go local and carry Gryphon's (my fave tea in the city!). I realize I'm ridiculous though, so just a small suggestion, because really all I want is the wine. Speaking of...

They have a decent sized bottleshop with wine and beer on the other side of the restaurant. You can even fill up growlers to go from their tap selection. The wine cooler is what entices me. The selection looked awesome and I can't wait to dive into that when I'm not pregnant!

I will for sure be back to check out dinner and the adult bevvies. Service was friendly and the space is so beautiful, it's the perfect setting!

We went for dinner the other night, we had a babysitter and we wanted to try out the newest neighborhood spot. Unfortunately, my husband had had dental surgery that day so the options were limited. We explained this and asked if he could have grits or a side of something and we were told no. We ended up getting an order of ice cream and I had an expensive salad and glass of wine. I would've had a full meal and probably another glass if they had been kind enough to help my husband get some food. Since he was sitting across me hungry, we left before we wanted to.

I'm really disappointed, I wanted it to be great.

Really love what this place is doing. The space is beautiful, well lit, and inviting. It has a nice covered patio for summer dining, which the area lacks. The unique and appeal menu has a great variety of well-curated small and large plates perfect for sharing- no need to commit to a single dish here. I've had about 1,000 cheese plates over the past 10 year and have not seen one like theirs. Each of the four hand-chosen and sometimes-local cheeses has a paired accompaniment which which to eat it- from jelly to peanut brittle. These guys know their taste buds.

They also have a great menu of cocktails, draft wine (bottles too of course), draft beer, and nonalcoholic drinks.

After dinner, stop at the bottle shop in the restaurant for a boutique and reasonably-priced selection of beer and wine. There is beer there I've only seen in Germany!

Again, go here, order with your stomach and you won't be disappointed.

Stopped in on a Monday to try the Fried Chicken special.  Weather was good so we were able to sit outside.  Most of the table outside were in use but the inside was rather empty.  Our server was very good.  Answered a few questions and went to get an answer on a wine question.  Had a glass of an Argentine Chardonnay that was crisp and good.   We shared the Local Was Bean Fritto Misto that came with a lemon garlic aioli.  If you want this go next door to IO.  Just not very tasty and the lemon garlic aioli tasted like lemon juice.  The Fried Chicken was very good,  one breast and two thighs.  Watch out for the bones.  The buttermilk biscuit could not have been any better, soft and sweet.

The food was really tasty but pricey.  We split the special fried chicken and burrata and tomatoes.  The chicken was juicy with tasty breading.  There were 3 pieces: 2 thighs and a drumstick with a side of pickled veggies.  The burrata salad was really fresh and had a nice spice from the peppadew peppers.  The outdoor seating was nice and shaded.  Recommended for a special occasion.
